Benefits of a work from home lifestyle

Choosing to work from is a decision that should not be taken lightly. It can be far more than just a side job or hobby. Taken seriously, working from home can supplement and in some cases even replace the income you make from you 9-5 job. There are many reasons to work from home, however I have chosen three which I feel are key in making the jump.

1) Flexibility

Working from home gives you job flexibility. Specifically, working from home via the internet allows you job flexibility. This is because the internet is this global and in most cases inexpensive/free medium by which one can access billions of potential customers. The great thing about the internet is that it's not a specific place or location. You can't physically stand inside of it or touch it with your hand. Therefore, you can access it anywhere. Generally, in a normal 9-5 job, an individual must be present at a physical location. For example, if you work at a MacDonald's restaurant, unless you show up between certain hours on certain days, you will not be paid. Another restraint of a typical 9-5 job is that of location. I'm sure you've heard of many people re-locating to different cities by virtue of a new job position. Therefore, the job dictates where you live versus the individual being afforded the opportunity to choose. However, what if you didn't have to a location to be physically present at day in and day out? Where would you live then? The answer is, where ever you choose, key words being 'you choose'.

2) Low overhead

Again, I am addressing the qualities of that of the internet. However, there are numerous possibilities of starting an at home business that take little to no start up money. Whether you are starting an ebay business, membership website, or just marketing in general, these are all businesses that can be realized with minimal start-up cash. The great thing about this is that allows anyone with the will to do so, to start their own business. This alleviates a huge barrier to entry which hinders most individuals from ever becoming their own boss.

3) Unlimited Income Possibility

Never before has there been a phenomenon like that of the internet. With little to no money, one has the world and all of it's internet capable occupants at his or her fingertips. To put this in perspective, many of you are familiar with the NFL Superbowl. Well, the Superbowl is the largest media marketing extravaganza in the United States year in and out. It can cost around $2.6 million for a 30 second ad during the Superbowl. It is estimated that around 100 million people watch the Superbowl year in and year out. Essentially, companies pay millions of dollars to access millions of customers. Now, imagine that you can market a product to the same amount of people or more for under $500. Worldwide, there are about 1.5 billion people who have access to the internet. Now the beauty of the internet, is that rather than 30 seconds of marketing time like the Superbowl, your ad continually runs day and night with no effort from you. (after you set it up) Using the same logic as those big businesses marketing in the Superbowl, the more people that view your ad, the more people that have the opportunity to buy from you. It essentially becomes a numbers game. The more exposure you get, the more potential customers you have. The more people that know about your product, the more people are going to buy your product. What this formula equates to, is UNLIMITED INCOME. Get paid what you're worth versus what someone is willing to pay you for your time.
